Once again we are holding a Farm Ride jointly with Mid Cheshire Bridleways at Guilden Sutton by kind permission of Alison Arden. It’s open to members and friends and please contact Alison directly by phone or email if you want to come. It is quite important that Alison has numbers for catering so please rsvp by Sept 10th. Thank you.
Further details are available on the attached poster. It’s a lovely off road ride, through fields, river meadows and woodlands with stunning views and is 6 - 7 miles long.

A View From C
**An evening with British Dressage judge Jo Glover at Kelsall Social Club on the 2nd March at 7.30pm. **
Jo will give us a background into dressage judging, explaining the scales of training and what judges look for in the horses was of going. We will have an opportunity to watch some videos of different dressage tests and mark some movements, comparing our scoring with Jo's. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.
This evening is free for DFRC members and everyone is welcome. For all non-members we ask for a donation to our chosen charity on the night.
Liverpool International Horse Show
24 members of DFRC visited the Liverpool International Horse Show on Saturday 2 January to enjoy the first event at the Echo Arena organised by Nina Barbour. We enjoyed the Amateur Final and then the Speed Stakes in the afternoon performance. There was also an excellent shopping village, bar and working in area where you could get really close to the top horses. As well as Show Jumping there were various displaces and parades and the Shetland Grand National!
We are hoping to repeat this trip again next year! Photo with kind permission of GML Equine Photography www.gmlequinephotography.co.uk.
Thank you very much to everyone who attended our AGM in October and big congratulations to all of our trophy winners, CLICK HERE to see the list!
