Visit to Liverpool Mounted Police
3pm on Monday, 12 March
and 3pm on Sunday, 25 March
The format of the visit (which will be around 1.5 hours) is for a tour of the stables; meet and greet the horses (!!) and then see a short demo of the training that they do. Any questions can be asked while we go round. Parking is available on site. There will not be a charge but the police are re-launching the training facility in April and are selling pin badges to help raise funds - but there is no pressure on us to buy anything.
Please can you let me know whether you would like to book in on either of these dates. There will be a maximum number of 20 per visit. Thank you! Sue Lea firstname.lastname@example.org

DFRC Summer Camp 2017
Another great social, riding filled weekend. Lots of fun, and lots learned. Mostly dry (weather wise!!) apart from a brief monsoon on Sunday afternoon when all but the hardy/crazy types ran for cover. Same weekend booked for 2018. Get it in your diary! Thanks as always to Cathy London for managing the whole thing. CLICK HERE CLICK HERE CLICK HERE

Liverpool International Horse Show
24 members of DFRC visited the Liverpool International Horse Show on Saturday 2 January to enjoy the first event at the Echo Arena organised by Nina Barbour. We enjoyed the Amateur Final and then the Speed Stakes in the afternoon performance. There was also an excellent shopping village, bar and working in area where you could get really close to the top horses. As well as Show Jumping there were various displaces and parades and the Shetland Grand National!
We are hoping to repeat this trip again next year! Photo with kind permission of GML Equine Photography www.gmlequinephotography.co.uk.
Thank you very much to everyone who attended our AGM in October and big congratulations to all of our trophy winners, CLICK HERE to see the list!
