When you join DFRC, please be aware that you’re agreeing to share the duty responsibilities: as part of your membership we require that you fulfil at least three half-day duty sessions per year.
The club needs each member to take their turn. This will allow all our events to run successfully.
Choosing the dates in advance helps you avoid duties on days when you want to compete. If your horse is out of action why not phone the event or team organiser to volunteer your much needed help?
People who are not called upon for their chosen dates may be asked to transfer to other duties. Your Duty Day can be swapped with another member or substituted by another person, but it is your responsibility to arrange this. For guidance, ODE stewarding/jump judging sessions will last about 3 hours. A full day fence judging will count as two duty days.
All duty day queries should be directed to Cathy London. firstname.lastname@example.org
